This is a Live Wallpaper, so, here's what you have to do to install it:

STEP 1. Tap and hold

Press the home button to first go to the homescreen. On the homescreen, just tap and hold on any blank spot until a context menu appears.

STEP 2. Tap on “Wallpaper” and then “Live Wallpaper”

In the menu or dialog box that showed up in STEP 1, just tap on the “Wallpaper” option, and then the “Live Wallpaper” menu item.

STEP 3. Select Bloody Birds Live Wallpaper

STEP 4. Tap "Set Wallpaper" to set it or "Settings" to configure it


This free app is ad supported and may contain ads in the notification tray and/or home screen.

    Eye Catching Wallpaper. For the Geek in you.

    This is a initial release to iron out any remaining bugs before stamping it with version 1.0. It has been tested on Droid X and no major issues are present. Other devices may come up with unforeseen errors.

    The Wallpaper works on Tablets as well. They are not fully supported, but the interface is drawn correctly. The remaining issue is that components are very spread apart, leaving a lot of empty space..but it does work.

    Future version may add full support for tablets with some nice additional components to fill out all the empty space. This will be worked on when I get my hands on a Tablet..

    The Tehnik Live Wallpaper informs the user about basic system and environmental variables.

    The information that is presented:

    Current Time
    Current Date
    CPU Utilization
    RAM Utilization
    Battery Remaining
    Current Weather

    The Settings Windows allows the user to change the location for which to show the weather as well as the Temperature scale. The Weather API is provided by http://www.worldweatheronline.com/ and it covers the entire Globe. The user can enter their City and Country Name and have the wallpaper automatically obtain the local weather information.

    The included Temperature scales are:

    Fahrenheit
    Celsius
    Kelvin
    All Three

    The interface is animated and shows the information in an eye pleasing fashion. The sharp lines and LED font provide a high tech feel to the entire application. The text section is animated to emulate a working Console window with code scrolling through it.

    Outstanding Issues:

    Weather data fails to download correctly when phone is restarted

    Battery saver mode stops all animations when the window is no longer visible (Screen off, Another application opened)
